Houston’s oldest law school, South Texas College of Law Houston, will be hosting its 2023 Centennial Gala on Saturday, September 23, 2023. The gala is the decorated school’s largest scholarship fundraiser. In addition to live entertainment, there will be dinner, dancing, and Paddles UP!

Founded in 1923, South Texas College of Law Houston is one of the oldest law schools in the state. The school, located in the heart of the city, serves a diverse population of 980 students. Offering students experiential learning opportunities that take future lawyers outside of the classroom, South Texas College of Law has a history of excellence in legal education.
To celebrate its founding, the school is hosting a Centennial Gala to be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Corinthian in downtown Houston. The stunning, neo-classical venue offers the perfect backdrop for the evening’s event. The gala is black tie with a room block available at Hilton Americas.
The gala will feature live entertainment by the famed classic R&B group The Spinners, whose members are among the 2023 inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Gala attendees will also be treated to dinner, dancing, and Paddles UP! All proceeds from the gala are used to support scholarships at the law school.
Tables and tickets are available for purchase but are selling quickly. All alumni and friends of the school are encouraged to attend to celebrate the law school’s history and accomplishments. Money raised from the event helps South Texas College of Law Houston remain accessible to all students through scholarships and other opportunities.
