The Environmental Trial Lawyers Association – Top 10 is a Specialty Association managed by The National Trial Lawyers, and is only awarded to the top 10 lawyers in a state who meet the membership criteria, which includes: reputation among the public, judges, and fellow attorneys; achievements as an Environmental specialist; board certification in Environmental law; nomination from other members and the Executive Committee of the Environmental Association, as well as leading lawyers.

Avvo is a rating service, and high Avvo ratings are an objective way of evaluating an attorney’s reputation among colleagues and past clients. It is accurate in that the Avvo rating cannot be affected by “membership dues” or biases. The rating takes into account past client satisfaction as well as recent results.
