Eric R. Birge

Associate

Eric became a lawyer to help those in situations where they can’t help themselves. Since graduating from law school, Eric has focused his legal career on representing victims of asbestos-related diseases, such as asbestosis, lung cancer, and mesothelioma. As an associate at Bailey Cowan Heckaman PLLC, he now handles a docket of mesothelioma cases filed in various jurisdictions across the country. Eric personally meets with every client and investigates their exposure to asbestos-containing products both in the workplace and through home use.

Eric gets great satisfaction when his clients get justice. For example, an ill, retired man with a family of his own, got justice from a company he dedicated his life to. A company who simply discarded him and looked the other way when the responsibility for his injury or disease was their own doing. Eric’s family taught him the value of right and wrong, and he learned growing up that people and companies aren’t always fair. To Eric, there is no nobler cause than helping those that have been injured due to no fault of their own.
