BCH Attorneys Complete South Texas College of Law Firm Challenge

Every attorney received their start somewhere, and many of us at Bailey Peavy Bailey Cowan Heckaman owe a great deal to our alma mater, Houston's oldest law school, South Texas College of Law Houston.

Every year, STCL Houston issues a Law Firm Challenge, in which the law school seeks donations from every alumnus working at a law firm to support the critical learning programs at the college. In keeping with BCH's continuing efforts to promote the law school and offer opportunities for future alumni, all nine alumni employed by Bailey Cowan Heckaman PLLC donated to the fundraising challenge.

Partner Aaron Heckaman, STCL alumnus, said in a statement upon completion of the challenge:

“Participating in and satisfying the South Texas College of Law Houston Law Firm Challenge benefits both the law school and firms like ours who employ the law school's graduates. We hope South Texas will continue to attract the best students and produce some of the nation’s greatest attorneys.”

At Bailey Cowan Heckaman PLLC, our Houston attorneys are committed to giving back to our community to ensure that the next generation of lawyers can step up and continue pushing the field of law further. We have spent decades working to provide those in need with the knowledgeable and passionate representation they require to secure the outcome and future they deserve, and are excited to see what STCL Houston’s future graduates will do to further that cause in the future.
