On August 30, 2022, Teresa Richard sustained serious bodily injury after an 18-wheeler driven by Procoro Ayala Trejo collided with her vehicle. The collision occurred at the 5100 block of Interstate 45 in Houston, Texas. Trejo was driving a 2012 Freightliner at the time of the impact. The truck is a “common carrier” registered to CFK Cargo Transport LLC.
As noted in the complaint filed in Harris County, Trejo’s inattention and failure to control the speed of the Freightliner caused the accident. Ms. Richard suffered permanent physical, emotional, and mental injuries as a result of the truck accident.
Damages sought in the case include compensation for past and future medical expenses, lost wages, future loss of earning capacity, mental anguish, disability, impairment, and pain and suffering.
